Op vrijdag 15 en zaterdag 16 maart organiseren we de Korte Keten Hack Food Valley, een initiatief van regionale partners die zich met hart en ziel inzetten om de landbouw in deze regio een ontwikkelperspectief te bieden. De ambitie is om deze regio de ‘Proeftuin van de wereld’ te maken. De hackathon maakt deel uit van deze ambitie. Een overzicht van de challenges!
On the 14th and 15th of December we ran the Big Data for Bees hackathon. In partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Naturalis, WUR and JADS we finished of the year with a bang: 7 nationalities, 6 teams, a Minister of Agriculture, amazing prize money and a bear that really likes his honey. We can make a difference in pollinator and pollination research by providing information in accessible and understandable ways, and come to a mutual understanding of the problem and its possible solutions. This is how we have designed the Big Data for Bees hackathon!

FarmHack is partner van het project om een doorlopende leerlijn te ontwikkelen rondom data in agrifood, met daaraan gekoppeld een experimenteeromgeving voor bedrijven. Van superhackathons en tot ‘flipping the classroom’-methodieken: we kunnen los!

Met 25 FarmHackers keken we voor Wereldnatuurfonds en partners RVO en BoerenNatuur, tijdens de Rewarding Nature hackathon naar satellieten en andere databronnen om kruidenrijkheid in grasland aan te tonen. Vier teams werkten aan ieder een eigen oplossingen!
Tijdens de Rewarding Nature hackathon kijken we naar mogelijkheden voor het identificeren en borgen van kruidenrijk grasland. Kunnen satellieten echt helpen om het interessanter te maken voor boeren om meer met kruidenrijk grasland te doen?
Meer en meer data komt beschikbaar die besluitprocessen in de landbouw kan ondersteunen van boeren, loonwerkers, bedrijven en andere stakeholders. […]
